Ingredients

  • Chicken Preparation:
  • Chopped Onion: 4 medium size

  • Cooking Oil: 3 big spoons

  • Chicken: 1.5 kg

  • Tomatoes: 3 big size

  • Green Chillies: 2

  • Garlic: 2tbsp

  • Ginger: 1tbsp

  • Salt according to taste

  • Red Chilli Powder: 1tsp

  • Yogurt: 1 Cup

  • Biryani Masala: 1 pack

  • Tikka Masala: 1tbsp

  • Tandoori Masala: 1tbsp

  • Cumin seeds: 1 pinch

  • Coriander powder: 1tsp

  • Turmeric Powder: 1tsp

  • Chilli Flakes: 1tsp

  • Garam Masala: 1tsp

  • Rice Preparation
  • Rice: 1.5 kg

  • Water: According to the quantity of rice

  • Cumin Seeds: 1tsp

  • Bay Leaf: 2

  • Green Cardamon: 3

  • Black Cardamon: 3

  • Cinnamon Sticks: 4

  • Cloves: 10

  • Lemon: 1

  • Dry Mint: 1tsp

  • Salt According to Taste

  • Oil: 1 Big Spoon

  • Vinegar: 1tbsp

Directions

  • Chicken Preparation
  • First of all, Fry Onion in a large pot until golden brown color and then add chicken.
  • Cook chicken with Onion for 5 minutes then add 1 pinch of cumin seeds, ginger, garlic paste, coriander powder & chopped tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add salt according to taste, Turmeric powder, Garam masala, Red chili powder, and Chilli Flakes.
  • Mix all the ingredients with the chicken. Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add chopped Green chilies.
  • Take a cup of yogurt, add biryani masala, tikka masala & tandoori masala in the bowl of yogurt, mix it well, and add in the chicken.
  • Mix it well with the chicken, cover the lid & cook for 15 minutes on medium flame until the chicken is ready.
  • Rice Preparation
  • Take a large pot of Water.
  • Add Cumin seeds, Bay leaves, Green & Black Cardamon, Cinnamon Sticks, Cloves, sliced Lemon, Salt according to taste, vinegar, dry Mint & big spoon of Oil. Cover the lid and wait for the water to boil.
  • Add rice to the boiled water, cover & cook for 15 minutes.
  • Make sure that the rice should Cook 90%. Do not overcook them.
  • Assembling
  • Take a clean big pot, and add chicken and rice with layers.
  • Add tomatoes, lemon, fried onion, and some biryani masala on each layer.
  • In the End, Add kewra & some food colors according to your choice.
  • Cover the lid and cook the biryani on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Chicken Biryani is Ready. Serve & Enjoy with your Family.
